PANTRY:
I bought a chalkboard and corkboard at Hobby Lobby and painted the frames to match my kitchen cabinets. I used painter's tape to edge the frame before I painted, I lightly sanded the frames, wiped them down, I applied about 3 coats of white crafter's paint and that was it. I hung these in the pantry to post our calendar, upcoming events and a message board to post messages and my grocery list. I use a chalk marker on the chalk board so it is not messy. I just take a picture of the grocery list on my phone and look at it when I go to the store so I don't have to copy the list to a piece of paper. The clipboard was a birthday gift that matches the roman shade in the pantry. I have an inspiration pic clipped to it.
GUEST BEDROOM GALLERY WALL:
When I first bought my SLR camera I took a million pics of our dogs. I decided to display those pics in the guest bedroom. I tried to mark everything off and make it perfect, but that did not work for me, so I just started hanging them up with no plan. I did not even know what pic I was going to hang next. I think it turned out pretty good.
That's all for now. Have a great weekend!
