This morning I've read an article about
Provence and I fell in love with the calming, comforting and natural vibe of the place.
The article pointed out a few signature features that all
Provence homes have like: painted wooden or stone surfaces, amazing rustic fabrics and one of my favorites: high ceilings with visible beams. Did you know that while designing homes locals concentrate more on the function-factor than the style? (but if you ask me: I totally find those spaces stylish). Also, due to the climate, many homes have ceramic tiled floors that give a sense of coolness, which is contrasted by their warm colours. Also, you won’t see a single home without tons of lavender in all shapes and forms (that is something I will incorporate into my home). What do you think, darlings? xoxo
