Pretty Pillows

Okay, lets face it.  Pretty pillows can make your sofa look its best, it can tie all the colors in the room together, it can make you design look colorful and cohesive.  My sofa does not have any pillows, partly, because I was afraid that our newest dog, Bode, would chew them up and I would have a stroke.
I finally ordered some fabric to make one set of pillows to try things out with Mister Bode.  I am a bit nervous, but I am going to take a leap of faith that it will be alright.  This is the fabric selection for the living room if you don't remember or if you are new to this blog:
The ottoman is upholstered in the Victoria Hagen fabric, one of my favorites.  I decided to choose only one fabric selection as a trial, so I decided the China Seas was my favorite.  I will hopefully receive the fabric any day now.  I have a great lady, Nancy, who will make these for me.  I will say that the downside of ordering the fabric is that you have to order a certain minimum yardage making the whole thing way more expensive than it would be if I could just order what is needed to make two pillows.

I think it is a smart thing to order your pillows pre-made if you can find the right fabric.  I was looking around at the different places you can buy designer fabric pillows.  I think Etsy is always a great source.

These are the sources that I have found to be the best:

Plum Cushion

Turquoise Tumbleweed

Elegant Touch

Seema Krish

Furbish Studio

Have any of you purchased pillows from one of these sources I mentioned or do you know of another great source for designer pillows?  Please DO NOT tell me if you have seen any pre-made pillows in the China Seas fabric!!

I don't think my heart or purse would be able to take the news...so keep it to yourself...I want us to remain friends :)
