What To Do...

Well, I have good news and I have bad news...

Bad news first.  I regretfully report that I had to return the iRobot Roomba today.  Sadly, I just was not impressed with the performance of the vacuum.  I ran the dear machine twice and decided for the money it cost, it just wasn't a good fit for our house.  The vac kept getting caught on the rugs (no fringe in this house, no shag, just seagrass) and bumping into the furniture, leaving a few faint marks.  I just could not stand it.  I did not trust that I could schedule an unsupervised cleaning without a snag.  I packed it up today and took it back.

I guess, I am back to More Chores, Less Life.  I had a really short relationship with my robot.

Good news, I can select something else to replace the Roomba.  I am really wanting needing an ipad.  I have a little money saved and with the return credit, I can go get it.  I had the money today, ready to purchase and I just could not do it.  I think it is just a cool gadget.  I am not sure if it would be the best tool to blog from, I know I could read blogs, but I would probably be better off with a new laptop instead.  I am not sure how much longer our current laptop is going to live.  It has it's good days and bad days.  I played with the Mac's and now I don't want to go back to PC Land.  I think of it like trying on expensive clothes that have a good fit, then going to Target and shopping for the nicest outfit they have....It just isn't the same.

Do you have an ipad?  Do you have a MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air?  I would love to know what you think is the best technology for the money.  Honestly, I would just like to have one of each, but I suppose that is out of the question.  Does anyone have any profound thoughts or advice on the subject?
