My mother-in-law says that you can tell a lot about a girl after her kitchen. So if she's right, I'm a chocoholic who drinks way too much soy milk and has every possible cook book on the planet! Anyway, for a while now I'm thinking about adding an extra open-shelf-unit to my kitchen and display all the food jars and mugs we have but I worry that it won't be too practical. Dears, I would love to ask what's your experience with open kitchen shelves? Do they gather up tons of dust or become totally messy? (I love all those huge cookie jars above). xoxo
