Inspiring Ideas

I can't seem to get this image out of my head since Erin of Elements of Style posted it.

I would like to try something similar to this in our guest bedroom because at the moment it has no style at all.  I really like the combination of fabrics and the colors are very calming and serene.  The headboard would overlap the window in my guest room the same as in the inspiration photo.
Seriously, if you had to choose, would you not prefer to spend the night in the Costal Living bedroom instead of this one?

If anyone would like to send me money to do this makeover just let me know. I have so many ideas and projects I want to do but not enough funding. I have a little trouble staying on task and finishing one room before I move on to the next. I am working on the dining room for now, waiting on furniture I have ordered. I am not the most patient person. I am tired of waiting, so I want to start on something else. Also, I need to have money to eat and shop in NYC in May, so you can go ahead and send me money for that too:)

Winter Blues

I so ready for Spring.  I know this is a beautiful view of the snow and trees in our backyard, but I am feeling the blues of being couped up in the house.  I yearn for green grass and warm breezes.

I decided to go buy myself something to remind me of the warm weather to come...

I know this is a bit loud, but I have a new pair of pink heels that need a dress.  I found this Lilly Pulitzer dress at TJMaxx.  Something about it made me smile, so it was sold.

I also found this dress at TJ's.  I think this will be cute with my canary yellow heels.
I found some new sheets at J.C.Penney's for the guest bedroom.  I think the pattern is pretty cool, I know these are not Rubie Green linens, but for $20, I thought they were close enough.

I need a bedside table and a reading chair to go by the window.  I would like the chair to have an upholstered ottoman.  I think it would be cool to have a pillow or slipcover for the ottoman in the same fabric as the sheets.  I also think this room could use a bench or something at the foot of the bed.  Any suggestions?
I actually hung a picture in the guest bath during the blizzard. I am not sure why I bought this picture, we are not big equestrians.  I just figure it is nice to have something to look at.

Have a great Thursday!
