I am totally in the post vacation fog! 

Almost 800 emails and 1400+ photos later I might be ready to accomplish 

something today!

Should I do grey in the kitchen??

 

Okay so I love this kitchen!!  I love the white counters and the grey cabinets with big silver handles, the lanterns, the farmhouse sink and the tile detailing by the cooktop!  

What would you do?  Would you commit to a style like this in such a permanent room?

Maybe white on most cabinets and grey on the island?

Even the dogs get it

I recently won this rug from Karastan in a drawing at the local ASID meeting.  I confess, considering I never specify carpet for a kitchen or bathroom, I'm not too familiar with the details of carpeting.  But I can tell you this:  Good quality real wool carpet feels soooooo amazing underfoot!  The dogs agree - I think it's their new favorite spot!

Textured wood flooring and Art - simply perfect

I am in love with the floors in these rooms. I cannot imagine how they got to this point but I cannot get enough of them. The Herringbone pattern in the other room is amazing, the wall texture and the simplicity of the furnishings makes it all work perfectly.
