I am really excited about this. I bought a scanner, printer, copier and photo printer. I played with it at the store and it seemed very user friendly. I definately need something that is easy to set-up and start using. I think this really opens up a huge spectrum of things I can post. I can scan my sketches and pictures that I don't have electronically. Hopefully, I will have time to hook it up this weekend.
While I was at Office Max, I had to look at the organizing goodies. I also picked these up.
I promptly decided I must label something....
I love these labels. Watch out pantry. I will label and date everything!
I have decided to try and get in shape, slowly. I really have not had a good work-out since August. We had such a confined living situation while building the house, it was a constant life of picking-up fast food, going to look a the progress on the house, going back to our living quarters and going to bed, then doing the whole thing again day after day. I feel pretty frumpy and out of shape. Yesterday I tried to run (it lasted for about 30 seconds) and I tried to do a push-up (I decided to do a couple of plank poses instead) but I could not push back up. Anyway, this is what we had for dinner...
I thought this looked really healthy. It is a turkey burger grilled on the ole George Forman, steamed brussel sprouts and baked wedge potatoes with olive oil and rosemary.
I also made dessert. I have the Alicia Silverstone cookbook, The Kind Diet.
Here is my creation...
I used Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder, Earth Balance Butter, unsweetened almond milk and agave to make the chocolate ganache topping. This is a variation from the recipe in the book, but these are the ingredients I had in the kitchen. My husband and I think these are quite yummy. I would highly suggest you make these if you like peanut butter cups.
Also, my copy of Traditional Home just arrived today. All of my subscriptions are a bit delayed due to the address change. I have this waiting on my bedside table to look at before bed tonight.
By the way, GO C-A-T-S!!!!! Those Kentucky Wildcats are playing right now and I hope they win!
Chao for now!
