Gustavian Style Home in France

Tuesday takes us to Saint-Germain-en-Laye which Wikipedia tells me is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris and this is where antique dealer Sophie and riding instructor Philip had this farmhouse restored. Sophie is owner of the shop "Au Temps des Cerises," and she displays her antiques in her home.

A palette of subdued grey, beige an whites in every room. 18th century antiques mingle with Gustavian furniture.

Reclaimed wood was used for the coffee table. An Aubusson style rug defines the sitting area.
