Darlings, have you seen the movie Julie & Julia? I just had a chance to watch it a few weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about it. First of all, incredible acting by Meryl Streep who plays the iconic cookbook writer Julia Child and Amy Adams who embodies a Brooklyn-based girl with a dead-end job who decided to change her life with a challange of cooking all 524 recipes in Julia Child's cookbook within one year. But besides that, the movie is totally inspiring and thought-provocing! I'm not a great cook and mostly I leave it all to Balazs but this movie was much more to me than a bold cooking challenge. It was a little glimps of how hard it is to balance everything in our lives like family, dreams, goals and timing. You could truly see Julie's struggles and that's what made her so real to me.
So, darlings, I would love to know your secret to work/life balance. How do you do it? Do you have it all figured out or you're still working on it? Is is stressful? Did you choose to go with your dreams or the more realistic option? Let's chat and please be honest! xo
