Salted Caramel And Chocolate Cake

Early next week Balazs has his birthday and this year I want to bake something I haven't done before (and he doesn’t suspect it). Two things he can't live without are: chocolate and caramel.  So the plan right now is to make this scrumptious salted caramel and chocolate cake but I am not totally sure about it. Darlings, I would love to know if you have any great caramel or chocolate recipes? Do share:) xoxo

Weekend Bits!

Darlings, can you believe that there are only 9 more days left of August? I can't!..
Over the weekend Balazs and I wanted to celebrate the end of the summer with a proper food and craft festival! I find those events very inspiring and fun. Great, relaxing atmosphere with wine, food, smell of lavender, handmade soaps and cute ceramics.
You can also see more of the photos here :)

Happy Browsing,

Groove The Night Away!

I love everything about this photo....but I have to admit that I often feel a little uneasy at parties and weddings, as they usually include a lot of  dancing. I'm so inspired by people who can just let go of their inhibitions and groove the night away.  My Balazs is one of them ....I, on the other hand, look like Olive from Popeye on the dance floor..hahah...

Darlings, are any of you feel a bit nervous about dancing too?
When was the last time you went dancing and really had a blast?

Wish you a jazzy day :)

One Of The 365...

This is Devon and Joe on their first marriage anniversary. They wanted to celebrate that special occasion by capturing the whole day as it normally happened for the last 365 days...cooking/baking, sleeping, chilling, working....

I find that so refreshing and fun...They both look so relaxed and happy !
I love anniversaries :)

How about you? I would love to know what do you do on those special days?

Kisses, Darlings,

Ps: For the whole photo album go here and here are their wedding photos...I'm totally smitten with her short wedding dress:)

Scent Love Affair

Darlings, I am on a hunt for a new perfume....I just finished a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel that I got as a present from Balazs's dad a while ago. He always gets me the nicest perfume :) As much as I love the fresh oriental fragrance that totally reflects the spirit of the young 'Coco' Chanel, I am ready for a new scent love affair.
I have Chanel N°5 on my mind.....

Which perfume do you wear?

Kisses, Sweeties:)

Ps: Don't you think that Keira Knightley looks amazing on that photo? She has such a sophisticated look:)

Tree for Birthday?

Jordan from "Oh Happy Day" made this cute Birthday Tree for one of her friends...It's such a great, simple idea to make someone’s special day a little bit more personal...You need some Dogwood branches, sparkly flowers, ribbons and little present boxes (each have a little gift and a note inside) so you can open one gifty each day. This way, you can prolong your birthday for a few extra days! (Who doesn't like that?) And let's not forget that it will add so much to the table decoration!

Well done, Jordan. I am on the wagon...

Love you all...

Ps: You can use that idea on many other occasions...like anniversary, engagement, babies’ birth....

Birthday Fun for Grown-ups

My birthday is still a few months away ( I can’t wait!) but this zebra piƱata makes me want to jump up and have some sweet fun! I usually have quite a low key Bday celebration, with a dinner and some shopping but this made me think that maybe I should stir things up this year. Just picture a bunch of adults trying to knock out dear life of this zebra...and for what? Candy!!!!

How do you spend your Birthday?

Hugs,

Rainbow Cups

´
Do you know that feeling, when you put together a great party but the only things sticking out are the plain paper cups. No more! ABC Paper Cups are the cutest I’ve ever seen!
Don’t you just adore them? What’s more, you can use them as decoration!
I have a Baby Shower to organize next month and those will be perfect!

Hugs,

Mom Is The Word!

I don’t know about you, my Lovelies but I am such a sucker for all types of holidays....I always try to make sure that all of those occasions are special and full of warm fuzzy feelings!
I am a strong believer that a well picked card means more then an expensive present. So, for this Mother's Day I am planning to get one of those absolutely adorable cuties!

My friend has this very cute tradition that each year on Mother’s Day she drives down to her Moms home and makes her blueberry pancakes with a maple syrup for breakfast and afterwards they look through old pictures and tell each other stories! How sweet!

How about you? Are you planning something special?
If you have any great traditions I am dying to hear about them!

Happy Friday:)
