My new favorite accessories at Viva Terra

For those of you who aren't familiar with Viva Terra, it's a furniture and lifestyle catalog that sells eco goods.

This whole image is gorgeous but the lotus chandelier is exquisite

I love this bedding!

This driftwood planter would be a good DIY project.

Aren't these the cutest robes?!

Stylish eco homegoods

I love the holidays; there's nothing like my mother's baking and seeing all of my sisters, family, and dog. One thing that does irk me about the holidays, however, is the amount of packaging and wrapping that is left over. So, this year I will be wrapping with pages from magazines, and also trying to give eco-friendly gifts.

Terra Furnishings has tons of really gorgeous and unique wood end tables and stools. This drum shaped one was one of my favorites.

A restaurant on the block where I used to live has these intricately carved panels lining the walls. I always thought they had them custom made!

Love the dramatic chandelier

I'm a sucker for baskets, they hide all manners of things you've yet to organize ;)

Furniture trend - do you like it?

Kilim rugs will never go out of style, and it seems like furniture manufacturers are running with that notion and applying it to all matter of furniture. Obviously, this isn't anything new, but I've definitely noticed Kilim upholstered benches and ottomans popping up more and more. I think that they fit in really well in a crafts style interior, and they remind me of the eclectic apartment of one of my father's well-traveled friends. Of course, I'd need to find one in colors and a pattern I really like. How about you?

Eco chic furniture and accessories

So, I know that "green" and "eco-friendly" items aren't exactly new buzzwords anymore. But I still love when I find a product that is made from recycled glass or reclaimed wood. What's even better is if the product is designed well and affordable. It's hard to find all of those things from one seller (especially affordability), but VivaTerra comes close!

Flowered enamel picnicware, starts at $35
I don't know why I like these, they're kitsch, but I like these

Ecowood grid shelf, $69

Recycled glass vases, $39 to $98

Suzani benches, $395 for narrow, $895 for wide

Gustavian vintage bed, $1,995 - $2,095
*swoon*

Branch and glass side table, $198

Entwined root stool, $99
I would take the glass top idea from the first table and put it on the root stool.

Railroad tie dining table $998

boatwood clock, $69
