White House in Sweden

This brand new white wooden house was built following a late 1800s style. Located in Brastad, in Sweden, May-Louise and Magnus Kruse purchased the property in 2000 but they had the 1892 house demolished and started form scratch. The ground floor is an open plan large room with a ceiling height of up to 7.5 metres. Upstairs is the house's only bedroom and a living room. The interior is quite eclectic: a mix of rustic, modern, and antique styles.
House tour time, lovelies!

A romantic turn of the century style home with a modern flair

I don't really know how to describe this home. It's featured in Skona Hem, so it features smart Scandinavian style, but it also looks like it could be a home from a fairy tale, or even a doll house. It looks like a home in a period film but at the same time features modern wallpaper, lighting, and fabrics. What do you think?

I really like the tall, thin cupboard in the back

*love* this bedroom

I'm all about mixing and matching chairs

Can you pick? 3 pretty apartments up for a prize...

Skona Hem holds a monthly contest where readers can vote on the most inspiring homes of other readers... I decided to compile some of the entries here to see what you guys thought!

House A: bright, open, and airy

House B: comfy, feminine, and cheerful

House C: luxurious, textural, elegant:

I'm so glad purple has been getting the love it deserved recently!

I'm leaning towards B because it feels a little warmer to me, and more realistic to maintain. I'm open to persuasion though!

Maybe if I'm really good, Santa will get me this house!

I'm afraid I have a lot of redeeming to do though in the next week!

I love this cozy oversized chair.

love that sea foam green on the cupboard

I'm glad the house doesn't have all-white floors throughout. Don't get me wrong, I love the look, but the natural wood color just makes the whole place seem more believable
