Mary Carol Garrity founded Nell Hill's in 1981 in Atchinson, Kansas. The store is named after her grandmother. She has been featured in many magazines, television, authored many books and writes a syndicated column. I have never actually had the pleasure of visiting one of her stores, but my best gal pal took a trip with her mother and raved about how affordable and hospitable their visit was. She brought me back four mint julep cups and a glass cake stand.
I would love to go visit her store for a gigantic tent sale she is having June 5th. She has recently added some online shopping to her website,
