I am always working on the inside of the house. I posted about a box from Wisteria, http://www.wisteria.com/, in a previous post.
I bought something to put in our breakfast area. I have contemplated over and over again what would look right with the drapes and the table and wall color. I finally just ordered this...the pics are a bit grainy. I took them in the morning hours and the light was still dim.
I wanted something large for the space. I wanted something with a pop of color to with the trellis fabric. I think I accomplished what I was looking for. I still would like to find different chairs to go with the table and maybe a rug. I have too much wood going on. My husband does not want a rug and I guess it is easier to sweep up any messes. Always a work in progress. I am sure you already know, but now is a good time to buy something you have been wanting from Wisteria because of their buy more, save more sale. I am glad I waited to buy these because I did get them on sale.

Ugg!
I am not going to tell you how much of my life I have just wasted trying to put a Mood Board together for Pewter & Sage. I tried to put it together through Polyvore...I am a little slow so it took me a while to get the hang of it. I tried to put the sort of finished board into my blog and it was all blurry. Basically, I am at the end of my rope and my Monday is wasted so my "mood" is quite bad at this time. I will leave you with this instead....you will have to click on it to make it larger.
This is the original sketch I sent to Urban Grace to design my breakfast area. You can see that I first wanted the big horizontal stripe drapes there, but we decided to put the trellis fabric there instead.
I hope everyone is having a more productive night than me. Peace!

I already had the light fixture and table. I still need chairs, I think I will try to find some on Craigslist or a yard sale that I can paint white. The drapes are going to be made soon, I gave the fabric to the lady who made my dining room drapes.
Anyway, go on over and look at the mood boards, the people who actually completed them, http://pewterandsage.blogspot.com/. I feel like I am back in college scrambling to turn in a project that is due tonight and I still don't have it finished.
I hope everyone is having a more productive night than me. Peace!

More Fabric, more decisions...
I am positively in love with Imperial Trellis fabric. Something about it just draws me in. I am thinking about having the trellis fabric for window treatments in the breakfast area to add some interest.
I have already ordered some counter stools with an outdoor fabric in this gray stripe.
The stripe is an outdoor fabric so it will be easy to clean, I can just hose it off and it will still look good. I like how the fabric will pick up the gray in the light fixture.
We are just going to live with these chairs at the table for a while. I can't decide what I want or what would look right. I think of maybe a gray chair or a white chair, but I just don't know. I think we need a rug because the table just blends into the floor too much, although I think it would be easier to clean without a rug.
Have a great Tuesday!

Breakfast Area
I am happy to say that our new farm table finally arrived! We really, really love it! I found this at a store in Lexington, Christopher Michael, located in the Chevy Chase area. The guy who sold this to me, Ralph, said that the top of the table is 150 year old reclaimed wood from England. I have no idea if this is true or not. I am just going to assume that it is and it is awesome.
We are borrowing the chairs from the dining room until we decide what to do.
To update you about the fabric selections that I posted about previously, I am not working with Designer Megan Green at the moment. I really like her and would recommend her to anyone. I am going in a different direction with our design for our house. I will share more about that later. I am expecting new fabric samples to arrive any day now. I will share those with you too!
